Cognition & Acoustics

Cognition & acoustics is concerned with the way acoustic stimuli influence cognitive processes, such as perception and memory, and how these processes are dependant on the physical characteristics of the stimuli.
By employing numerous methods (incl. diagnostic imaging), it is possible to examine the brain structure and function in healthy and diseased brains.
Electrical and magnetic stimulation, and pharmacological modulation shed provide insight into complex processes and how they are influenced by external stimuli.
