Equipment / Facilities / Services

The Equipment / Infrastructure / Services section provides an overview of the available facilities at the Auditory Valley and manages the services required.
Scientists have access to anechoic chambers, listening booths in varying sizes (including several booths for threshold measurements and electrical response audiometry), a fully-equipped Vestibularis laboratory, a communication acoustics simulator, and a recording studio.
With 406 loudspeakers, a wave field synthesis system uses a spatial audio reproduction process to create virtual acoustic environments.
Numerous OPs, lecture theatres and laboratories (incl. animal testing, histological, molecular biological and physical labs) are available in addition to an echo chamber.
