Implant development

This section deals with the development and improvement of active and passive middle ear implants, cochlear implants, implants for stimulating different positions along the auditory pathway, as well as stents for ventilating the middle ear, to ensure that care for patients is as ideal as it can possibly be.
Developmental focus is on the optimum biological and functional integration of the implant, as well as reducing damage to the inner ear when introducing the implant. The success of implant development at Auditory Valley is to be found in the multidisciplinary cooperation between a broad diversity of faculties, integration of a wide range of technologies and an excellent infrastructure, in order to research the best-possible rehabilitation of auditory awareness from an integrated point of view.
