You can hear the future: This is the mission of the research and development network Auditory Valley, which focusses on expertise in the field of hearing. In this magazine "CLICK" we aim to give you regular insights into the fascinating and varied world of researchers.

 

The central topics under the “Sonic Boom” category in this issue are newborn hearing screening and a specially developed concert for wearers of cochlear implants. In “Directional Filter,” we introduce the Subject Database, a unique feature of the Hörzentrum Oldenburg GmbH. Under the category of “Pink Noise,” we present a colorful mixture of research news and event reports.
The developments and findings of Hearing4all, the Cluster of Excellence in Auditory Valley, is once again a special focal point in this issue.


In order to promote qualified young talents, the network partners in Auditory Valley are offering a diverse study program on all areas of hearing. In each issue of “Click,” we introduce an Auditory Valley course of study under the “Spectrum” category. In the current issue, the “Engineering Physics” course at Oldenburg University is in the spotlight.

Oldenburg / Hannover. You can hear the future: This is the mission of the research and development network Auditory Valley, which focusses on expertise in the field of hearing. In this magazine "CLICK" we aim to give you regular insights into the fascinating and varied world of researchers.

In our „Sonic Boom“ segment, we take a look at Berlin and report on the parliamentary evening organised by the Office Acoustics Forum under the motto „I simply can‘t understand: working together for better acoustics in the office, in school and in public spaces“. In this issue‘s „Directional Filter“, we present together with the European Medical School new avenues in medical education. A wide mix of research news and event reports is offered in our „Pink Noise“ segment.
We‘re also putting a special focus in this issue on the developments and results of Hearing4all, the Cluster of Excellence in the Auditory Valley.
The Auditory Valley network partners offer a wide range of courses on hearing-related issues to promote the next generation of researchers and practitioners. Each issue of „Click“ features a „Spectrum“ segment which takes a look at one of the courses offered by Auditory Valley. In the current issue, we look at the study programm „Hearing technology + Audiology“ at Jade University.

Oldenburg / Hannover. You can hear the future: This is the mission of the research and development network Auditory Valley, which focusses on expertise in the field of hearing. In this magazine "CLICK" we aim to give you regular insights into the fascinating and varied world of researchers.

We will present the newly established Office Acoustics Forum in the „Directional Filter“ section of this issue. On the initiative of experts from Auditory Valley, leading manufacturers from all fields of acoustically optimised interior decoration met together at the Auditory Valley Business Forum to develop holistic ideas and solutions with the aim of reducing „acoustic smog“ in offices.
This issue also features the developments and results of the Hearing4all Cluster of Excellence at Auditory Valley.
To attract qualified young people, the network partners at Auditory Valley offer a broad range of courses in the field of hearing. We feature one of these courses in the „Careers“ section of each issue of „Click“.
